This week ACFHP had the pleasure of welcoming the International Federation of Fly Fishers (IFFF) as our newest member of the Partnership. The IFFF is a 46 year old international non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the sport of fly fishing through conservation, restoration, and education. This organization is the only organized advocate for fly fishers on a regional, national, and international level, and has a total membership of 13,500 fresh- and saltwater fishers.

The IFFF has 17 regional councils in the United States, five of which overlap with ACFHP boundaries (Florida, South East, Chesapeake, Eastern Waters, and North East). Bob Groskin, D.V.M. will serve as the IFFF representative for ACFHP, and he has already taken an active role in the Partnership. We look forward to benefiting from a new perspective and area of expertise in future projects, and are enthusiastic about this unique collaborative opportunity.
