The Atlantic Coastal Fish Habitat Partnership Goes on Tour

Greetings conference goers!

The Atlantic Coastal Fish Habitat Partnership (ACFHP) extends a big thanks to its Steering Committee Chair, Kent Smith, Steering Committee Vice Chair, Chris Powell, and Communications Working Group member, Tina Berger for sharing news about ACFHP activities and accomplishments!

If you attended the Restore America’s Estuaries Conference in Tampa or the ASMFC Annual meeting in Philadelphia this past October, the Flatfish Biology Conference in Westbrook this past December, or the Southern New England American Fisheries Society winter meeting or the East Coast Commercial Fishermen’s & Aquaculture Trade Exposition this month you may have seen one of ACFHP’s traveling displays (pictured at right), picked up an ACFHP fact sheet, or engaged in a conversation with one of the individuals named above about Atlantic coastal fish habitat conservation.

If you missed us or didn’t make these events – not to worry!  You can download ACFHP fact sheets at our website to learn about ACFHP’s funded projects: www.atlanticfishhabitat.org/outreach-and-communications-projects/.

If you’re traveling to an upcoming conference or meeting and want to help spread the word about ACFHP, send an email to egreene@asmfc.org and we’ll provide you with any materials you might need!
